We check this with hysterosalpingo contrast sonography (HyCoSy). <\/p>\n<p>After menstruation, a fine balloon catheter is inserted into the uterus. A special ultrasound contrast agent is then introduced, and its flow through the fallopian tubes can be seen directly on ultrasound.
